Kaizen Education
The professional side of Reverie
Kaizen Education is the education arm of Reverie Salon in Chicago's River North. Founded by Sal Misseri, it trains licensed stylists, colorists and salon owners in the technique, consultation and consistency that high-end clients expect — the same standard every member of the Reverie team trains to.
Kaizen is the Japanese principle of continuous improvement: small, deliberate changes that compound into mastery. It is how we teach.

What is Kaizen Education?
Kaizen Education is an advanced hair education company for licensed professionals, founded by Sal Misseri and based at Reverie Salon, 300 W Grand Ave, Suite 5, in Chicago's River North. It offers hands-on group classes, private mentoring and in-salon team training in haircutting, hair color and salon business.
Who are Kaizen classes for?
Working professionals: licensed stylists and colorists, salon assistants on a professional track, and salon owners and managers who want their team to deliver a consistent, high-end result. Kaizen does not teach consumers.
Where are Kaizen classes held?
Group classes and private mentoring take place at Reverie Salon in River North, Chicago. In-salon education takes place at your own salon, anywhere in the United States or internationally.
How much does a Kaizen class cost?
Full-day, hands-on cutting and color classes start from $600. The Salon Owner Business Mastery intensive starts from $1,000. Private mentoring and in-salon programs are quoted to your goals and team size. Payment plans are available on select classes.
